GoodWe SEC1000S Smart Energy Controller

The SEC1000S is a smart energy controller developed by GoodWe for three-phase and three-line (four-line) AC systems. It combines a three-phase meter with Ezlogger Pro functionality to enable real-time data collection, analysis, and control of GoodWe solar inverters. The device can automatically adjust active power output, power factor, and AC output limits, while supporting monitoring and reactive power compensation across systems.

The SEC1000S communicates with inverters via RS485 (up to 1000 m with shielded twisted pair) and supports up to 60 inverter units. It features LAN and GPRS connectivity for remote terminal communication and system integration with SEMS platforms. Rated power consumption is under 10 W, with input voltage ranges of 60–280 V (phase) or 100–480 V (line), 50/60 Hz operation, and input current range of 0–5 A.

Housed in an IP65-rated enclosure measuring 420 × 320 × 131 mm and weighing 4 kg, the SEC1000S operates across –25 to 60 °C with boot time up to 3 seconds. It is suitable for GoodWe ET and BT series inverters (5–10 kW/kN range) and is sold without current transformers (CTs).
